Job Description

The Executive Pastry Chef will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our culinary operations.

This position requires a strong leader who can oversee all back-of-house operations for multiple restaurants and kitchens within a single market.

About the Team

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field and six to eight years of experience in Culinary Management or a similar role.

Responsibilities include implementing brand-specific hygiene procedures, ensuring continuous compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to develop new menu items and recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper food storage, minimize wastage, and maintain pre-set food costs in collaboration with local kitchen chefs
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to procure high-quality ingredients and ensure their availability through local suppliers
  • Oversee end-of-month inventory, daily wastage tracking, requisitions, and deliveries to uphold quality standards and cost-effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English
  • Food Safety level: level three
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, or a related field
