We are seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Hyatt Group. As a key member of our Pastry department, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Pastry Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in Pastry cuisine, leadership, and food services to deliver exceptional results and exceed guest expectations.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in overseeing daily kitchen activities, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations meet Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless service and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant, preferably with Pastry experience.
- Preferably, experience in luxury international brands.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System.
