As a Robotics Education Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing STEM education. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive instructional coaching to teachers, ensuring they deliver high-quality instruction that meets the needs of their students.
You will work closely with teachers, providing specific strategies for improved instructional delivery. This may involve collaborating on lesson plans, offering expert advice on improving and enhancing individual lessons, and conducting demonstrations and modeling lessons.
Your expertise in robotics will be invaluable in identifying appropriate research-based instructional strategies and interventions to improve STEM achievement for students. You will also lead teacher study groups to increase content and pedagogical knowledge of STEM instruction.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will collaborate with the STEM instructional teams to develop and implement plans designed to assist struggling students. A willingness to contribute to school redesign and turnaround is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
