**Job Title:** Teacher Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the physical environment of the classroom, ensuring the implementation of routines and procedures, and assisting with displaying class materials. They will also work closely with individuals and groups of students as arranged by the class/subject teachers.

Main Duties:

  1. Prepare the physical environment of the classroom for all lessons.
  2. Ensure and maintain the implementation of routines and procedures.
  3. Presentation in all classes except Quran, Ruya, IT & PE periods.
  4. Assist with the display of class or subject materials, including students' work.
  5. Work with individuals and groups of students as arranged by the class/subject teachers.
  6. Provide help for below-level students during classes (as directed by their teachers).
  7. Assist with creating teacher-made resources (just for grades 1 & 2).
  8. Assist with creating and managing extra school activities.
  9. Substitute for the subject teacher in their absence or elsewhere according to HOD or admin plan.
  10. Attend all development workshops & admin meetings.
  11. Ensure students meet the school's expectations regarding behavior and discipline. Prepare materials & apply motivational techniques, implementing consequences with class teachers.
  12. Track students' attendance according to school regulations.
  13. Communicate with parents regarding behavioral and absence issues.
  14. Keep detailed records and anecdotal notes.
  15. Distribute and collect administrative letters and money.
  16. Supervise students according to the duty schedule.
  17. Perform duties assigned by the principal, deputies, or HODs (during substitutions).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English Literature or Education-related field.
  • TA experience is a plus.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Excellent use of Technology.
