Job Title:
Operations Manager
About the Role:

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating operations for all services assigned to the Emergency Services Directorate, including Fire Department, Emergency Dispatch, Police Desk Operations, Physical Security Mail Screening, Emergency Medical Services, Counterintelligence Screening Team (CIST), Installation Access Badging, and Defense Biometric Identification System Operations.

The role involves overseeing site management and Quality Objectives in support of Program Safety and Operational Audits. It also includes preparing briefings in PowerPoint and charts in excel for senior leaders as required or directed.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership, consultation, and mentoring to all assigned staff members, creating development opportunities for junior leaders and fostering a culture of continuous teamwork throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate operations for all services assigned to the Emergency Services Directorate.
  • Oversee site management and Quality Objectives in support of Program Safety and Operational Audits.
  • Prepare briefings in PowerPoint and charts in excel for senior leaders as required or directed.
  • Manage and/or conduct data collection, research, and report preparation for all Emergency Services Organizational Projects.
  • Provide leadership, consultation, and mentoring to all assigned staff members.
  • Ensure organizational goals are in alignment with company vision and values, ethics, and compliance objectives.
  • Liaison with Program Management leadership for mission accomplishment and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or related experience in Emergency Services Management.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in emergency services role (Fire, Medical, Police or Military Operations).
  • Prefer experience in planning, supervising, managing, and conducting overseas emergency operations.
  • Deployment to Southwest Asia (SWA) experience preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimal guidance and/or supervision.
  • Must have excellent oral and written skills.
Working Conditions:

Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
