Director, Communications and Sustainability

We are seeking a visionary leader to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that showcases the company's commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a multi-channel communications plan to promote the company's ESG initiatives and enhance its reputation.
  • Craft and manage all communication materials, including press releases, media kits, and corporate brochures, to maintain a positive image.
  • Develop and maintain digital content that aligns with the company's brand voice and messaging, including social media platforms and websites.
  • Promote sustainability best practices among platform companies by providing guidance and support to enhance their ESG performance.
  • Inform and engage internal and external stakeholders on ESG performance through participation in the green investment committee.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Establish and drive comprehensive communications strategies to foster a consistent brand voice across platforms.
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to improve environmental and social performance.
  • Prepare and manage all communication materials to maintain a positive company image.
  • Create and maintain digital content that aligns with the firm's brand voice and messaging.
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEDIA, INFLUENCERS, AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO PROMOTE THE COMPANY'S REPUTATION AND VALUES.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Communications Director or similar role with expertise in stakeholder and community engagement.
  • Experience within Kuwait and/or GCC region with knowledge of local markets and cultures.
  • Proficiency with communications technologies, including copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing principles.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing strategies to leverage digital channels effectively.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills to craft compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline preferred but not required.
