The Graduate Studies and Research Office (GSR) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support activities in research, including conferences, internal and external grants, international research collaborations, etc.

This role will be shared between GSR general activities and acting as Assistant Manager to the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) in Kuwait. The SDSN role requires providing administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of activities, initiatives, and events.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to sustainability and sustainable development goals (SDGs). Key responsibilities include:

  • Administrative & Operational Support: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for sustainability projects.
  • Event & Project Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing conferences, workshops, and sustainability initiatives. Coordinate logistics for guest speakers and participants, including travel arrangements and accommodations.
  • Research & Stakeholder Engagement: Support research projects by collecting data, reviewing reports, and summarizing findings. Engage with internal and external stakeholders. Assist in preparing grant applications for sustainability initiatives.
  • Communication & Outreach: Help in updating website content related to CSD initiatives. Coordinate announcements for upcoming events.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in event planning, project coordination, or administrative support is preferred.
