Sous Chef - Assistant Kitchen Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to assist with the efficient running of our kitchen operation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen activities and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to high standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of kitchen inventory, supplies, and expenses.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and quality standards.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or 4 years as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles, food safety practices, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance Systems.
