Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Specialist to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen equipment maintenance and a proven track record of ensuring seamless operations in fast-paced commercial environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Corrective, Reactive and Planned Preventive Maintenance of assets in restaurants, offices and commissaries. They will manage hard and soft services, including MEP, kitchen equipment, hood servicing and fire protection systems, and ensure all locations are efficiently maintained cost-effectively.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Reactive Complaint / PPM: Respond to complaints and complete PPM tasks within agreed timelines.
  • Planned Preventive Maintenance: Monitor and perform planned maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular store inspections and perform corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Cost Saving: Minimize external vendor jobs by rectifying issues promptly and advising on major repairs/changes required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician or similar role in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of various types of kitchen equipment, including fryers, ovens, broilers, grills, refrigerators, dishwashers and ventilation systems.
  • Kuwait Driving License.

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma preferred.
  • 2-5 years experience in restaurant and general maintenance.
  • Strong hands-on experience on kitchen equipment and MEP.

Language Skills:

  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Arabic language skills a plus.
