About the Job

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the kitchen. Your primary focus will be to assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen as a successful independent unit, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all aspects of the kitchen's operation.

You will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure seamless service delivery, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Your leadership skills will be essential in motivating and guiding your colleagues to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen operation
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the kitchen's daily activities
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a similar establishment
  • Prior experience in luxury international brands is desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred
