Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Officer to join our team at AIU. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to engage with our audience, grow our online presence, and promote our brand values.

Your primary objectives will include:

  • Managing and maintaining our social media channels across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels;
  • Developing and implementing content calendars to ensure consistent and engaging posting schedules;
  • Creating and curating high-quality content that aligns with our brand values and messaging;
  • Engaging with our online community through comments, messages, and social listening;
  • Tracking and analyzing our social media performance using analytics tools;
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns;
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution;
  • At least two years of experience in an office environment, preferably in social media management or marketing;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, as well as social media management tools;
  • Familiarity with AIU's mission, vision, and values;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
