Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair complex aircraft systems, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  • Apply technical expertise to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation.
  • Lead teams through complex aircraft maintenance tasks and provide guidance to lower-level technicians.
  • Plan, conduct, and supervise aircraft technical inspections.
  • Compute basic weight and balance records.
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; U.S. military technical school or specialized training course desired.
  • Five (5) or more years of aviation maintenance experience within the past ten (10) years on the AH-64 mission design series.
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License for mechanics and Sheetmetal preferred.
  • Able to obtain and maintain facility Public Trust NAC-I clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid passport with at least six blank pages and three years of remaining validity.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods.
  • Capacity to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
  • Able to crouch, crawl, grasp objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees, and reach above/below shoulders.
  • May be required to lift heavy objects exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Capability to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through various software applications.
