Business Systems Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires an analytical mind and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of airline operations and business processes, as well as experience working with IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all functional aspects of airline IT systems.
  • Understand and document business requirements, processes, and workflows related to airline operations.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and system capabilities to optimize business outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • PMP certification.
  • 5 years' experience in IT, working on aviation systems or as an IT Business Analyst in a commercial airline.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations and business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with various IT tools and techniques.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure effective system integration and functionality.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to align systems with business needs.
  • Support the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with project management, contract management, and system integration is highly desirable.
