About the Role:

This is a mid-senior level contract position that will last for 17 months.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Governance Strategist to drive data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and standardization. This role involves implementing governance frameworks, managing data quality, overseeing metadata and master data, and collaborating with stakeholders.

  • Implement data governance policies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Conduct data maturity assessments and ensure compliance.
  • Define data quality rules, perform profiling, and implement remediation strategies.
  • Manage metadata, data catalogs, and master data management strategies.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams and provide training on data governance best practices.
  • Develop governance reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Management.
  • Experience with governance tools such as Informatica DQ, Collibra, and Talend.
  • Strong knowledge of governance frameworks including DAMA-DMBOK and DCAM.
  • Expertise in metadata, master data, and data lineage management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as CDMP and DCAM.
  • Experience in telecom, banking, or large enterprises.
