We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Training Specialist to join our team at Vectrus. As a key member of our Fire Department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the training program to ensure compliance with DODM 6055.06 and other relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for firefighters and emergency services personnel
- Manage the administration of the training program, including staff evaluation and coaching
- Ensure compliance with DODM 6055.06 and other relevant regulations
- Collaborate with department officers and other leaders to develop training programs
- Perform needs analysis and develop specific training programs to support department operations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and administer DOD firefighter certification programs
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a firefighter working on a DOD installation
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pro-Board/IFSAC fire and emergency services certification curriculum instructor
- Strong ability to exercise professional discretion and good judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with multinational staff and military officials
The worker is subject to extreme heat, noise, and hazards. Physical requirements include heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
