- Develop annual operational plans for assigned products, setting targets and responsibilities to ensure team members operate within established guidelines.
- Collaborate with management to create the business unit's annual plan, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
- Design and oversee the implementation of product-specific policies & procedures to meet departmental requirements.
- Oversee product planning, drive sales strategies to meet retail standards set with vendors, and analyze market performance.
- Implement initiatives to foster customer loyalty, aligned with vendor guidelines and company strategy.
- Ensure product communication reflects product objectives, builds brand equity, and maximizes market performance.
- Analyze and re-forecast product activities regularly, evaluate financial performance, and report findings to top management for recommendations.
- Create an annual business plan for assigned products, ensuring compliance and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with vendors on pricing strategies, ensuring product pricing aligns with department goals and market conditions.
- Ensure team awareness of product values and develop projects to enhance product image in major initiatives.
- Develop product strategies based on consumer insights to improve product health and sales performance in regional markets.
- Conduct market research to monitor competition, market trends, and consumer attitudes, informing product development strategies.
- Collaborate with relevant teams on advertising, promotions, pricing, positioning, and packaging in line with the business plan.
- Manage visual plans for promotional events, exhibitions, and showrooms, coordinating with the Visual Merchandising Team.
- Visit showrooms and stores regularly to ensure visual merchandising compliance and recommend improvements.
- Analyze product performance data to identify issues and opportunities.
- Prepare reports as required by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Participate in annual employee performance evaluations.
- Ensure effective delivery of training and development programs for the team, providing feedback to management.
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure smooth team operations.
