The Rig Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations on the rig site. Key responsibilities include:
- Issuing Standing Instructions for Drillers for each tour, routed through the Toolpusher/Rig Manager, to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Complying with required SOPs and completing checklists as required to maintain a safe working environment.
- Preparing detailed procedures for specific critical operations, such as running casing and cementing.
- Participating in performance discussions to improve ft/day and reduce flat-time operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oilfield drilling, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 10 years of seniority in relevant positions is required, with high HSE awareness and commitment to quality.
