Job Overview

To successfully expand our market presence and revenue, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Product Development Manager to lead the development and launch of commercially sourced food and beverage products under our brand, collaborating with third-party manufacturers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Product Development Strategy:
    • Determine market gaps and growth opportunities aligned with our strategic goals.
    • Develop feasibility studies including concept rationale, costs, and market potential.
    • Coordinate with external manufacturers for product development, testing, and launch.
    • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
    • Evaluate co-manufacturers or private label vendors and negotiate quality standards, IP rights, MOQs, lead times, and SLAs.
    • Monitor vendor performance for reliability and compliance.
  2. Project Management & Collaboration:
    • Manage product initiatives using tools like MS Project.
    • Lead review meetings with stakeholders to track progress.
    • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams on contracts and costs.
  3. Marketing Integration:
    • Translate consumer insights into product ideas.
    • Work with marketing teams to position and support products.
    • Assist in packaging, storytelling, and claims substantiation.
  4. Logistics & Cost Optimization:
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize logistics and costs.
    • Explore sourcing options to reduce lead times and risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology, or Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in FMCG/Food product development, with experience in co-manufacturing or private label management.
  • Proven success in launching products through third-party partnerships.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
