We are seeking a Deputy Project Director - Commissioning to join our team at Sommerman Skinner Associates (SSA Limited). As a Deputy Project Director - Commissioning, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and start-up activities for water treatment projects, managing a team of engineers, and ensuring that systems are turned over to commissioning in a smooth, safe, and efficient manner.
You will also be responsible for interfacing with client's operation staff, planning, coordinating, and directing start-up activities, supervising engineers, and reviewing project designs and construction to ensure plant operability and operating personnel safety.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients' projects. If you have a solid background in EPC projects, specifically on waste & wastewater projects, and technical knowledge of start-up operations, maintenance, and/or testing, we want to hear from you
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Project Director - Commissioning to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in developing commissioning and start-up manuals and associated method statements, as well as strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline from an accredited University or a professional license in an Engineering discipline
- Solid background and expertise on EPC Projects, specifically on Waste & Wastewater Projects
- Technical knowledge of start-up operations, maintenance, and/or testing
- Strong leadership skills and ability to travel and work flexible hours
