The Academic Discipline Manager will oversee the management of department staff, ensuring effective program implementation and discipline. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and evaluation of department staff in regards to classroom management procedures.
Meet with parents to address concerns about programs or teachers related to discipline and behavior management issues.
Maintain open communication with the administrative team and school Superintendent on relevant matters.
Student Supervision:
The Academic Discipline Manager will establish a climate conducive to student self-discipline, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. This includes:
Having disciplinary authority over students on school premises, buses, and during authorized activities.
Supervising student activities, including field trips and sponsored events.
Monitoring student arrival and departure times, ensuring no student leaves without proper authorization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
A native English speaker or excellent language skills.
Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and relevant experience.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy and a deep understanding of higher education policies.
