Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities, including negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

As a key member of the procurement department, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize supplier relationships, improve supply chain efficiency, and reduce costs. You will lead negotiation and alternate sourcing activities in China to improve local content and optimize material cost by driving productivity and continuous improvement activities.

Additionally, you will lead procurement activities for product transfer – source & quote analysis, ensure material availability to support production, and monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, and delivery). You will also collaborate with different functions (Global Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Distribution) in managing procurement issues: materials expediting, supply issue mitigation including support end of life and alternate sourcing proposals, ECO / PCN / TMD process, quality investigation, and engineering evaluations.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead negotiation and alternate sourcing activities in China to improve local content.
  • Optimize material cost by driving productivity and continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement-related issues.
