Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to join our team. As a key member of the procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize supplier relationships, improve supply chain efficiency, and reduce costs.

In this role, you will lead negotiation and alternate sourcing activities in China to improve local content. You will also optimize material cost by driving productivity and continuous improvement activities, including duty/tariff mitigation. Additionally, you will lead procurement activities for product transfer – source & quote analysis, ensure material availability to support production, and monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, and delivery).

As a Supply Chain Professional, you will collaborate with different functions (Global Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Distribution) in managing procurement issues: materials expediting, supply issue mitigation including support end of life and alternate sourcing proposals, ECO / PCN / TMD process, quality investigation, and engineering evaluations.

You will provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input to product designs relating to manufacturability, cost reduction, and ease of manufacture, by liaising closely with suppliers. You will also perform cost analysis, periodic repricing review, and track the site PPV / SCR performance.
