Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress within construction projects by measuring and evaluating installed quantities on a project against the plan. This includes exposure to cost benefit analysis, value engineering, and feasibility studies pertaining to work, labor, and materials needed.

Main Responsibilities
  • Quantity Tracking: Track and record quantities of materials used in construction projects
  • Forecasting: Develop forecasts for future quantity requirements based on historical data and trends
  • Estimate Loading: Load estimates into systems for tracking and analysis
  • MTO Updating: Update Materials, Transportation, and Occupancy (MTO) information from IFC drawings for progress measurement
Key Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in science or arts
  • Experience: Total post-graduation experience of minimum 8 years with at least 5 years as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Skills: Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
  • Communication: Expertise to interface well with project engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other members of the project team including the client
Preferred Qualifications
  • Quantity Surveying: Must have experience in quantity surveying, quantity measurement, re measurable, bill of materials type contracts
