Job Description

The Medical Specialist will be responsible for providing specialized medical services for the diagnosis and management of diseases under the scope of care of the related specialty.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing medical services under the supervision of Neurology Consultants.
  • Assessing patients from the Emergency Department and reporting unusual findings, complications, or alterations in the management plan.
  • Attending daily ward rounds with the Neurology team and reviewing patients on a regular basis.
  • Documenting reviewed findings in clinical notes and covering Operating Room duties as assigned.
  • Discharging patients on consultants' instructions and writing discharge summaries.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year Post-Masters experience is required, with desirable experience being 3 years post-obtaining the highest degree. A Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a master's degree in the Specialty are also required, all obtained from Universities approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait.
