Neurology Care Provider

We are seeking a skilled Medical Specialist to join our Neurology team at Taiba Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized medical services for the diagnosis and management of diseases under the scope of care of the related specialty.
Responsibilities:
- Acting under the supervision of Neurology Consultants to provide a Neurology service and support Neurology Consultants/specialists in their duties.
- Assessing patients from the Emergency Department and reporting unusual findings, complications, or alterations in the management plan to Specialists or Consultants.
- Attending daily ward rounds with the Neurology team and reviewing patients on a regular basis in accordance with the plan of care made by the attending consultant.
- Documenting reviewed findings in clinical notes in a timely and legible manner and covering Operating Room duties as assigned.
- Discharging patients on consultants' instructions and writing discharge summaries, responding to adverse occurrences, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhering to Hospital Policies and Procedures and undertaking other duties that may be required, including assisting medical colleagues throughout the hospital.
- Participating in Registrar on-call Rota and providing cover in exceptional circumstances for colleagues' absence.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year Post-Masters experience is required, with desirable experience being 3 years post-obtaining the highest degree. A Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a master's degree in the Specialty are also required, all obtained from Universities approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait.
