Food Safety Excellence Specialist Role
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute food safety audit programs that ensure compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough on-site audits using various tools and reporting methods, maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout.
- Create and deliver audit plans as required by the business, responding promptly to additional requirements from senior management.
- Collaborate effectively with external audit service providers to ensure consistency and alignment in audit processes.
- Analyze data and evaluate information to identify risks and trends, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of food safety audit standards, protocols, data, and store lists, ensuring seamless access and tracking.
- Support quality assurance functions as needed, conducting audits, coaching follow-up, and developing Quality Assurance standards.
- Work closely with the supply chain department to improve supplier quality issues and provide training to employees on quality and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments and escalating potential risks through established incident management procedures.
- Recommend improvements to audit programs and ensure effective follow-up on action plans, driving continuous process enhancement.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Conduct comprehensive audits following established protocols and guidelines, guaranteeing accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyze complex data, evaluate information, and draw informed conclusions to inform recommendations, ensuring sound decision-making.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in English, presenting results and findings in a concise and easy-to-understand manner.
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance standards, working collaboratively with external contractors as necessary.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures related to food safety and quality assurance, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and standards.
