Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Controller responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as overseeing production procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and knowledgeable about quality standards, ensuring our products are made from flawless materials with well-maintained equipment to deliver high-quality service and achieve long-term success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect the entire production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with Food Safety & Quality standards.
  • Approve incoming materials by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and communicating adjustments to managers.
  • Maintain records of testing, defects, inspections, and other quality metrics.
  • Monitor equipment safety and maintenance, reporting issues as needed.
  • Sample outputs and perform appropriate testing methods.
  • Conduct staff training on food safety and quality standards.
  • Support development and implementation of food safety and quality management systems.
  • Investigate customer complaints and develop corrective action plans.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports to the line manager.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a quality controller in the catering or hotel industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Bio-Chemistry, or related field.
  • HACCP Level 03 certification or higher.
  • Experience with quality testing equipment and systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Confident, team-oriented personality.
  • Currently based in Kuwait and familiar with local regulations.
