Job Summary

About the Role
  • The Telecommunications Technician Lead will be physically located in Kuwait, supporting communication systems.
  • This position involves supervising a team of approximately 8-15 technicians.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise junior telecom technicians and provide guidance in the field.
  2. Ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities and provide communications support to the customer.
  3. Oversee daily operations for Outside Plant / Inside Plant personnel.
  4. Resolve issues with installation problems.
  5. Use test equipment to identify and analyze equipment trouble.
  6. Respond to emergency service requests affecting communication systems.
  7. Understand technical documentation and maintain excellent customer service skills.
  8. Ensure team safety rules and regulations are followed.
  9. Perform additional duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience: 3-5 years as a Telecommunications Technician, with experience in installation, troubleshooting, repair, splicing, terminating, and site surveys.

Skills: Professional demeanor, effective communication, customer service, teamwork, independence, organizational skills, and advanced computer skills.

Working Conditions

Work in extreme weather conditions, including hot desert environments, and industrial settings.

Physical Requirements

Light work involving exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
