Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Cook to join our team. As an Assistant Cook, you will be responsible for assisting the cooking staff in preparing and serving meals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a restaurant or similar establishment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Responsibilities
  • Assist the cooking staff in preparing and serving meals
  • Follow company procedures regarding appearance and maintain neat personal hygiene according to accepted standards
  • Adhere to company regulations concerning Quality Service, Cleanliness, and Hospitality
  • Follow instructions of Manager on duty, provided they align with company procedures and standards
  • Cooperate with Manager on duty in learning new skills and procedures for workstations
  • Know assigned workstation and ensure understanding of procedures to be followed
  • Follow proper procedures when using equipment and tools in the restaurant
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor related to the job
