About The Role:

TheKuwaitiDanishDairyCompany is seeking a highly skilled Project and Service Delivery Manager to oversee and manage the project portfolio within the organization. This includes setting up a project management framework to follow best practices in managing projects, as well as managing the operations and performance of the service desk team.

This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and monitor project progress, ensure customer satisfaction by delivering services/projects on time and within budget, and provide oversight and follow-up on MIS/IT project portfolios.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish a Project Management Environment: Set up the project management environment following best practice standards, including methodology, phases, deliverables, and templates.
  • Lead IT Projects: Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Oversight and Follow-up: Provide oversight and follow-up on MIS/IT project portfolios to ensure they progress according to plan, budget, and deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure proper management of projects.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with project sponsors, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment and support.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks across the project portfolio.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of projects and the portfolio as a whole, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Project Governance: Establish and maintain project governance structures, processes, and standards.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to the project portfolio, ensuring that changes are assessed, approved, and communicated effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of service desk agents and technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of IT services to end-users and customers, meeting or exceeding predefined SLAs.
  • Incident Handling: Oversee the handling of IT incidents and service requests.
  • User Feedback: Interact with users to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  • Team Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the team's performance.
  • Training and Development: Organize training sessions to enhance the skills of the team.
  • Process Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Service Desk Metrics Analysis: Continuously analyze service desk metrics and customer feedback.
  • Critical Issue Handling: Handle and escalate complex or high-priority issues.
