As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving Ooredoo's growth and success in Kuwait.

The Purpose:

Your primary responsibility will be to sell Ooredoo services and upgrade rate plans to meet customer needs.

You will also be responsible for influencing non-Ooredoo customers with new sales offers and maintaining existing relationships to fulfill monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales:
    • Sell Ooredoo services and products through various market channels.
    • Sell Ooredoo services and products to high-value customers.
    • Closing deals and achieving targets using creative and innovative strategies.
    • Staying well-informed about the latest expertise in the field.
    • Creating sales plans independently and referring to Line Manager when necessary.
    • Providing ongoing support to existing and new customers.
    • Activating lines, services, and ported-in customers to minimize delays.
    • Achieving customer satisfaction through written reports.
    • Maintaining high-quality customer service standards.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Ensuring drawers are opened and closed according to finance standards.
    • Verifying transactions before closing the cash register or drawer.
    • Handling cash and collecting daily sales and other reports.
    • Receiving payments and issuing receipts for sale items and outstanding accounts.
    • Processing collection reports daily.
    • Reporting any discrepancies between submitted transactions and requests.
    • Delivering daily cash and credit card vouchers for Ooredoo services.
    • Attending training and coaching sessions set by management.
  3. SAF Management:
    • Obtaining signatures from employees and customers on SAF documents.
    • Reviewing transactions to avoid clawbacks and submitting them to Head Office daily.
    • Returning signed SAF documents to CCQC and uploading scanned copies in RAS.
    • Proactively improving self-knowledge by staying informed about developments in relevant fields.
    • Performing other duties as directed by supervisors to ease branch operations and assist during the absence of Branch Manager or Team Leader.
    • Upselling company digital platforms and directing customers to process basic services through it.
    • Contributing to departmental communication through regular meetings and report preparation.
    • Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
    • Phono management has the right to reallocate sales executives to other divisions during crisis mode.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Higher secondary school degree or equivalent discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant field.
  • Intensive knowledge of local market conditions and MS Office skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
