This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and expertise in warehouse operations.

As a key member of the supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and maintaining high levels of productivity.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of warehouse personnel. You will also possess a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as experience with GCSS-Army and other relevant software systems.

You will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to shipping and delivering products to customers.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels, tracking stock movements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supply warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Army property and warehouse operations principles.
  • GCSS-Army certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
