Reinsurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. As a member of our reinsurance team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with reinsurance markets, cedents, and other key stakeholders, identifying opportunities to optimize client outcomes.

• Act as the primary point of contact for reinsurance clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Manage and develop relationships with reinsurance markets, cedents, and other key stakeholders, identifying opportunities to optimize client outcomes.
• Assist in structuring and placing treaty and facultative reinsurance programs, leveraging expertise and industry knowledge to deliver value-added solutions.
• Support the negotiation of terms and conditions with reinsurers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in the GCC reinsurance sector, providing strategic insights and recommendations to internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field, demonstrating academic excellence and a solid foundation in business principles.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in reinsurance, broking, or underwriting, showcasing a proven track record of success and expertise in treaty and facultative reinsurance structures.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance markets, products, and services, with excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to analyze data, provide strategic insights, and drive business growth, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and fluency in English and Arabic.
