Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Engineering projects in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating delivery excellence, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met, and managing associated risk.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • P & L responsibility with commercial and financial accountability, including revenue delivery, margin management, budget determination, and risk reviews.">
  • Contributing to project proposal and plan development, determining timeframe, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.">
  • Negotiating changes to project scope or specification with the customer and following Change Management process to identify and approve modifications.">
  • Pursuing opportunities for innovation, such as digitalization and technology use, work share, and high-value engineering centers.">
  • Establishing project procedures, leading production of project execution plans, and regularly reporting project progress to senior management and/or the customer.">
  • Ensuring competence of project team members, leading ongoing focus on risk identification and mitigation, and promoting a performance improvement culture.">
  • Facilitating the setup of information management systems and applications, participating in assurance activities, and overseeing proposals and call-offs within delegation of authority.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • University degree in relevant discipline.">
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM), or equivalent certification preferred.">
  • More than 15 years of pertinent experience, including minimum 5-10 years managing projects or part of projects, mastering their area, and knowledgeable about impacts on other areas.">
  • Good level of experience in the oil and gas/refinery and petrochemical industry and experience in Middle East projects.">
  • Proven project management experience and good understanding of business issues, thorough understanding of project management techniques and practices, and knowledge of prioritizing stakeholders and stakeholder management plans.">
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentational communication skills, strong influencer, negotiator, and mediator, flexible to respond and adapt to changing internal and external context, decisive, and able to make decisions and follow through.">
