Engineering Equipment Lead

About This Role:
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of engineer equipment, HVAC systems, power generation equipment, and special purpose equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintenance management and be able to lead a team of maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Analyze malfunctions and develop plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt normal operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; U.S. Citizenship/CAC eligibility or ability to obtain CAC.
- Able to obtain Host Country Driver's License and Kuwaiti Driver's License.
- Valid US Driver's License for at least 18-24 months.
- GCSS Army certification required; Caterpillar, RETCH, EPA 608/609, and ASE certifications preferred.
- 2-4 years of maintenance and supply management experience, with at least 1 year in leadership.
- Prior military or civilian training in Engineer, Utilities, Power Generation, or Construction Equipment Maintenance desired.
- Effective communication and organizational skills; troubleshooting HVAC and Caterpillar equipment; leadership and customer service skills.
Work Environment:
The ability to work in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F, in both indoor and outdoor environments.
