Job Description

The Field Operations Specialist role requires the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for various products and services. Entry and intermediate level roles will receive direct supervision in support of their duties and assignments. Senior and fully-qualified level roles will provide direction to junior field specialists, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and make recommendations to improve product quality and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, safety, security, and compliance with company policies, laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Prioritize quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, job hazard analysis, and promptly report any issues.
  • Monitor and analyze data to recommend services and solutions.
  • Perform job planning, preparation, mobilization, job execution, and submit job-related data and reports.
  • Be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
  • Test, operate, and maintain tools and equipment according to work instructions and policies.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at well sites.
  • Follow up on failures with the R&M team and ensure failure reports are closed with clients.
  • Contribute to or lead equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis reports.
  • Oversee, lead, and mentor field operation crew members.
  • Perform engineering checks while on client locations.
