Job Description:

The Technical Field Specialist will provide technical support to customer locations, performing system maintenance and repairs as needed. This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and service electronic equipment in field installations
  • Converse with customers or supervisors to plan layout of equipment
  • Read and study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures
  • Operate systems to demonstrate equipment and analyze malfunctions
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to repair equipment
  • Instruct and direct workers in servicing and repairing equipment
  • Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years providing embedded technical support, maintenance, repairs, expertise, and advise to Army tactical units
  • Active SECRET US Government Clearance required
