Job Title: Laboratory Operations Manager

About the Role:

American International University is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our campus labs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our labs, including coordinating the purchasing and storage of lab supplies, evaluating lab technician job performance, and developing and implementing lab safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the purchasing and storage of lab supplies
- Evaluate lab technician job performance
- Assist in the creation of lab schedules
- Develop and implement lab safety policies
- Coordinate maintenance of lab equipment
- Prepare and submit budgets, including capital budgets for new equipment
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for each lab

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or higher degree
- 2+ years of lab supervision experience
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Continuing education in lab management and/or lab safety
- Master's degree or higher
