Key Job Functions

This role entails operating and maintaining wireline equipment during on-site field operations in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wireline operations and a strong understanding of field procedures, safety standards, and equipment handling.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Operate and maintain wireline equipment during on-site field operations, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers to rig-up and rig-down logging and perforating tools, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare, assemble, and test downhole tools according to precise job specifications, maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Support engineers during logging, perforation, and data acquisition activities, providing expert advice when required.
  • Ensure safe handling of explosives and pressure control equipment in accordance with established safety regulations.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections, maintenance, and function testing.
  • Adhere strictly to client-specific HSE and QHSE standards, reporting any malfunctions, safety hazards, or non-conformances immediately.
  • Complete all required field documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including tool checklists and service tickets.
  • Engage actively in pre-job planning, safety meetings, and toolbox talks, fostering open communication and collaboration.
