The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of post-graduation experience in oil and gas projects. They should also have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and hands-on experience in Planning Software like Primavera or MS Project.
Responsibilities- Supervise the planning function during design and/or construction stages of assigned projects.
- Assess the effectiveness of working practices and systems to improve them.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
- Manage the Planning Team to deliver a complete Planning/Scheduling service.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Their responsibilities will include supervising and directing planning focal points and engineers, preparing weekly/monthly reports, analyzing contractors' reports, and ensuring shutdown plans are executed correctly.
Liaison with engineering, construction, operations, and asset managers is essential to ensure planning processes align with their work scopes.
Additionally, they will need to schedule HSE activities, communicate with the management team on cost and planning matters, and provide regular project updates.
