Job Description

We are seeking an English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering lesson plans that facilitate active learning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with established procedures.
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
  • Achieve yearly subject-wise goals with strong instructional strategies.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting events and student organizations.
  • Update all necessary records accurately and completely in the student information system.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Participate in department, school and parent meetings.
  • BUILD a strong rapport with parents and provide excellent instruction and support to both students and their parents.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department to collect school fees when due.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively develop rapport with parents and promote the school through regular positive direct communications with the school community.
