Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Operations Manager to oversee the supervision and management of drilling operations on our rigs.

About the Role:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drilling Operations Management: Provide overall supervision and management of drilling operations on the rig, ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate with the drilling team to develop drilling plans and strategies, oversee the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives, analyze drilling data and provide recommendations for improvements and optimization.
  • Training and Development: Supervise and train drilling personnel to maintain a high level of competency and safety awareness, collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of drilling operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Extensive experience as a Rig Superintendent in the oil and gas industry with the last 5 years as a Rig Superintendent.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in 3000 hp deep drilling rig operations, proficiency in High-Temperature High-Pressure (HTHP) drilling techniques and procedures.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid certifications and licenses as required by regulatory bodies.
