Technical Systems Support Specialist

Job Description

The Technical Systems Support Specialist will provide technical support, maintenance, and operational assessments for complex technical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of sensor systems, computer security, and operating systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tier two level support for maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of sensor systems and computer systems
  • Applying problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues
  • Producing written documents detailing specific services planned or performed
  • Conducting periodic training on system use, care, maintenance, and preventive maintenance
  • Communicating complex technical issues through written reports and weekly activity reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience in coordination and technical support for radars
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Two years of experience in installation and maintenance of electronic systems
  • Knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Windows OS, MS Office, Visio, and Auto CAD
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
