Hotel Department Head Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Department Head to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hotel, as well as adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize Work Productivity: Effectively schedule and allocate resources to optimize work productivity and ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene Standards: Ensure that all hotel areas maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Policies and Procedures: Adhere to company and hotel policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Departmental Organization: Plan and organize departmental activities, including assignments, time schedules, and vacations, to ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, including relevant reports and statistics.
  • Guest Requirements: Promptly respond to guest requirements and requests, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
People Management:

The Department Head will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining seamless coordination with all hotel departments, interacting with guests and personnel in an efficient and friendly manner, providing effective support to the team, motivating and developing staff, conducting on-going training, and coaching employees.

Qualifications:
  • A Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language is required.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages is an advantage.
