Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Trade Operations Specialist to oversee all trade-related operations, ensuring efficient execution of trades, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of trading platforms, settlement processes, and financial market regulations. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams, external brokers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and risk mitigation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Overseeing the daily trade operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution, settlement, and reconciliation of trades.
  2. Monitoring trade flows across different asset classes, including equities and ETFs.
  3. Ensuring all trades are executed in line with company policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
  4. Investigating and resolving trade discrepancies, failed trades, or settlement issues in collaboration with counterparties and custodians.
  5. Maintaining records of all trade activities and preparing reports for management.
Operational Risk & Compliance
  1. Ensuring trade operations comply with relevant regulatory frameworks, including CMA (Kuwait Capital Markets Authority) and SEC/FINRA (US).
  2. Monitoring adherence to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) policies within trading operations.
  3. Identifying potential risks related to trade operations and implementing necessary controls to mitigate them.
  4. Coordinating with compliance teams to ensure regulatory reporting and audits are completed as required.
Process Improvement & Automation
  1. Collaborating with IT and technology teams to enhance the efficiency of trade workflows and automate manual processes.
  2. Assisting in troubleshooting system issues related to trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation.
  3. Working on continuous process improvements to reduce errors, increase efficiency, and ensure a seamless trading experience for clients.
  4. Providing input for system upgrades and enhancements based on operational requirements.
