Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Cost Control Engineering Head. This position plays a crucial part in overseeing cost control operations, ensuring seamless execution of projects.

About The Role:

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Controlling reimbursable hours and generating weekly reports as needed.
  • Overseeing monthly reimbursable hours, preparing timesheets, and task performance sheets for clients.
  • Handling pre-authorization forms for overtime hours and maintaining related approvals for timesheet submissions.
  • Preparing ODC requests and filing client-approved submissions for finance department invoicing.
  • Maintaining logs for OT and ODC request status reporting and monitoring.
  • Completing and updating weekly and monthly cost reports for clients.
  • Ensuring smooth client approval of milestone certificates and invoices through interface with the cost control organization.
  • Developing Manning charts for ManHours & Cost Estimates.
  • Creating and maintaining forecasts and reporting on PMC hours, cost, and revenues, including PMC cash flows and profit/loss reports.
  • Verifying EPC contractor and Technip direct services subcontractor invoicing for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Verifying costs claimed by EPC contractors against approved backup documentation.
  • Developing detailed cost estimates for services and materials based on client requirements and rules.
  • Interface with cost control and finance reference persons of the group for necessary group reports.
  • Supervising cost engineers when necessary.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 16 years of total experience.
  • At least 8 years in the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochem sector.
