Job Summary

We are seeking a Cost & Estimating Engineer (Estimator II) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates for complex projects, reviewing takeoffs provided by the engineering department, and developing procedures for estimating modifications and additions to onshore and offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates: Develop and review detailed cost estimates for various projects, including construction, modifications and additions.
  • Review takeoffs: Check takeoffs provided by the engineering department for mathematical and technical accuracy.
  • Develop estimating procedures: Create and maintain procedures for the preparation of estimates, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with project teams: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
  • Analyze data: Use historical data and industry benchmarks to identify trends and areas for improvement in estimating processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Experience: Proven track record in cost estimation, preferably in civil construction or similar fields.
