The Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing and growing the University's brand level social media presence across multiple platforms. This includes tracking, maintaining, and increasing engagement on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a productive and resourceful member of the team, contributing to the development of a social media coverage plan for various events and activities.
  • Produce ideas for engaging content and create plans for implementation, including shooting, producing, and editing social media posts daily.
  • Research and report on the latest trends, providing suggestions to boost organic growth across all channels.
  • Manage content, suggest effective cross-platform use, and review engagement via comments, likes, impressions, and other simple analytics.
  • Maintain standards of content on all platforms, aligning with the values and mission of the institution.
  • Keep up-to-date with activities and comments from students, parents, and the general public, reporting back on noteworthy activity.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully bilingual, fluent in Arabic and English, with strong presentation, listening, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven record in handling social media channels, with demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and composure while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competency and experience in the application and implementation of technology, particularly the use of social media, with proficiency in standard software applications.
