**Inventory Cost Control Specialist**

This role focuses on providing key insights and findings on stock, price, and cost discrepancies. It involves working closely with the Operations team and Finance department to identify areas for performance improvement.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing key analysis and reports to measure inventory-related KPIs, including food cost reports, consumption variance reports, staff meal reports, discounts reports, and wastage reports.
  • They will also carry out analysis based on system reports and provide feedback to management on areas of concern.
  • A significant part of this role is menu engineering analysis, where the candidate will identify cost and margin issues and report cost-saving/margin-making options to management.
  • Another key responsibility is preparing variance analysis for food and beverage and communicating with relevant parties.
  • The candidate must analyze and illustrate results and trends that impact restaurant performance.
  • They will identify anomalies in inventory and costs, raise questions and clarifications with Operations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Recipe costing and system recipe management updates are also critical components of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be an Excel expert, and skilled in data analytics.
  • They must be able to multitask, work independently as well as contribute as a team member.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential qualities for success in this position.
