The mission

Vorwerk Portugal is looking for an IT Manager who will work with Group IT International Leadership Team in the development and coordination of infrastructure and software, to enable execution of business processes, and achieve business transformation and value.

As IT Manager you will lead the evolution from current to future business needs for Portugal, by developing IT plans and roadmaps and building sponsorship and business readiness to adopt new technologies and ways of working.


You will be challenged to:

  • Support the definition of IT strategy for the enterprise, embedding digital assets and capabilities, and supporting the design and implementation of digital strategy and organization, as well as processes and policies;
  • Lead analysis, evaluation, and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the enterprise architecture is synchronized with ever-changing business needs and the complexity of digital transformation;
  • Develop strategies for significant areas of the enterprise, by partnering with the business team, ensuring they are successfully implemented and that they meet medium-term business needs;
  • Guide the implementation of policies and the design and implementation of projects and change management;
  • Communicate the role s strategy and how it relates to the organization s mission, vision and values, clarify the actions needed to implement the strategy within the role s responsibilities.
  • Participate in corporate strategy development, by contributing with innovative ideas and insights to support the IT strategy development, and leveraging the necessary expertise to test its viability;
  • Identify and manage stakeholders, understand their needs, and lead and coordinate the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.


Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Project Management or Service Management;
  • Bachelor s degree in Management, Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar;
  • Fluency in English.
